My name is Dorene Picker and I am based in Westchester County. I have a strong passion for history and people! Growing up in Croton, I worked as a tour guide for VanCortlandt Manor living history museum and occasionally participated in local colonial and revolutionary war reenactments in the area. I also worked for a number of years as a volunteer at Skyview Haven nursing and rehabilitation where several members had spent their careers as nursing assistants. These roles fostered my love for people and hearing their experiences in times throughout history! As a current Area Director for AuPairCare, I am able to learn about experiences from au pairs from all over the world!
I love my work as a CarePro because I love connecting and hearing the stories from the people I interact with.
Hobbies: I love to spend time at the Hudson River with my husband and our daughter. I am an active member of my church in Croton, where I also teach Sunday school.
